As movement specialists, our physiotherapists are experts in assessing and treating a wide range of conditions, including many common causes of knee pain, that impact the musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular systems. We work closely with our patients to identify the root cause of their discomfort and develop personalized management plans that help them achieve lasting relief and improved performance.

Imagine a life where every step is taken with ease, where you can engage in activities you love without hesitation. Physiotherapy not only alleviates pain but also enhances your overall well-being. Reclaim your freedom and rediscover the joy of movement. Say goodbye to limitations and hello to a future where your knee pain no longer holds you back. Our compassionate team will guide you on this transformative journey, offering unwavering support and personalized care.

Who is physiotherapy suitable for?

Physiotherapy is suitable for a wide range of individuals dealing with knee pain. Whether you’re an athlete striving for optimal performance, an active individual looking to regain mobility, or someone seeking relief from chronic knee pain, physiotherapy can help you.

If you’re experiencing knee pain due to conditions such as osteoarthritis, ligament injuries, tendonitis, meniscus tears, or patellofemoral pain syndrome, physiotherapy can provide effective solutions. It is also beneficial for those recovering from knee surgeries, such as ACL reconstruction or meniscus repair.

Physiotherapy is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re a young adult, a middle-aged individual, or a senior looking to maintain an active lifestyle, our tailored physiotherapy programs can be customized to meet your specific needs and goals.

Regardless of your current level of function or the underlying cause of your knee pain, our experienced physiotherapists will assess your condition and develop a personalized treatment plan. They will work closely with you, guiding and supporting you throughout your rehabilitation journey.

At DG Health, we understand the significance of this step, and we’re here to provide you with the answers you seek. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of the most common questions clients like you have had before entrusting us with their well-being.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Yes we use HICAPS, which allows for instant claims processing of health insurance claims. This mean that you receive your health insurance benefit on the day of your treatment, rather than being out of pocket until your insurer assesses your claim.

Will physiotherapy work for my specific condition?

Physiotherapy uses a combination of hands on treatment, prescribed exercises and patient education to help get to the root cause of your pain. The vast majority of cases can be treated in clinic. For those that need the help of a specialist phyisician, we can also refer you to the medical professional that is just right for you.

My pain is really bad - do I need surgery or medication instead?

In most cases the drawbacks (pain, recovery time, invasivness and cost) outweigh the benefits of surgery, and for many, this is a last resort. Physiotherapy is a drug-free, non-invasive, natural way of addressing the root cause of your pain.

How long do treatments take?

Initial appointments are 60 minutes, and return treatments are just 30, so we can have back to your day in no-time 😁

Are treatments painful?

Physiotherapy treatments are generally not painful. They are designed to alleviate pain, not cause it.

What's involved in a treatment and how does the process work?

A physiotherapy treatment typically involves a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education on self-management techniques. The specific techniques used depend on your condition and goals. Our practitioners will:

  • Conduct an assessment
  • Create a personalized management plan, and;
  • Work with you to achieve your desired outcomes in an agreed upon timeframe
